Discovered SoundCloud.com two days ago through a track shared by Ian Zafra (Sheila & The Insects) of a Cebu act called Undercover Grasshoppers. With a sudden interest I took a brief tour of the site and its features only to find my myself uploading the whole Lilystars catalogue. You must’ve notice a new music player on our sidebar. Pretty cool eh?!

We have been looking for the best platform for sharing and receiving music. Our search has ended, I hope. The German based site is trendy and has sharing support for individual tracks as well as whole albums or sets with a very stylish music player widget. Each track, album or widget can be shared to Facebook, MySpace, E-mail, WordPress, Blogger, Twitter and is embeddable to any site. >>>

4 Questions On Labeled Blog

November of last year I received a message on MySpace by a certain Edward Bingar who works for an indie label in Iowa, US called Workerbee Records asking if I’d be interested to contribute to a self-interview for a friend’s blog that features a diverse number of indie labels. The interview consists of four standard questions to which I willingly obliged.

Here are the questions:
1. Why did you start a label?
2. Why do you keep doing it?
3. Name 5 bands you’d love to release.
4. Do you accept demos, if so where?

You can find the answers at http://labeledblog.com posted December 4th. It came to my attention just a few hours before I wrote this. There are discrepancies regarding the compilation album due to unavoidable delays.
