Announcing the impending release of The Gentle Isolation’s debut EP “It Started With An April Shower” coming soon this August! It will be supported by a promotional single called “Let’s Go Slow” which will be made available for streaming starting Wednesday, July 21 at http://lilystars-records.com and http://thegentleisolation.com as well as the band’s social networking site. The single will debut on radio (NU107.5) come Monday, July 19.
The Gentle Isolation is an indiepop quartet and indie music hobbyist from Meycauayan, Bulacan. Their sound is reminiscent of Belle & Sebastian and Camera Obscura, very light and twee. Having made their rounds in several bars and other venues in and out of Metro Manila, the band has busied itself with building a steady fan base, augmented by the rare privilege they enjoyed when they played as one of the front acts during Swedish indie pop duo, Club 8’s concert in Manila in May 2010.
