WANDERLUST: The Camerawalls Southeast Asian Backpack Tour

After putting in time at the studio following Pamagdoy, their five-city tour of the Visayas last April — The Camerawalls is packing up their instruments again and following that irresistible desire to travel, this time to the backpacker’s haven of Southeast Asia.

“Wanderlust: The Camerawalls South-East Asian Backpack Tour” kicks off in a dezpedida (“fare thee well”) gig in the Philippines, then rolls on the offbeat path to a string of watering holes in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand — each locale a vital component to the Philippine-based band’s musical odyssey.

This is the first time The Camerawalls will be on a proper tour of the region, as live performances had previously been limited to Singapore and their home country. Time will be spent on interacting with fellow artists and music aficionados via intimate gigs, as well as occasional forays into the cityscape.

Supported by their newest single release of the same title, join Clementine, Law, George and Bach as they take in the sights, scents and sounds of the southeast Asian route, and expect another online tour diary of their nomadic stopovers — be it discovering hidden restaurants and coffee shops, artists’s hubs and quaint bookshops, or perhaps idyllic beaches in no-man’s land.
