To celebrate our three years of POP outings in the indie music industry we have put up a small gathering for everyone to witness, enjoy and paint the town red on Sat April 2. Lilystars Records and The POP Shoppe! in partnership with Wasted Summer, Cartonata and Splintr.com brings you the following highlights for our anniversary party:
* HELLOGOODBYE “Would It Kill You?” (Philippine Edition) Album Launch. A foreign addition to our catalogue which includes a free download code for the bonus track “Not Ever Coming Home” powered by CARTONATA. A hardworking band from Long Beach, California with a formidable sophomore release under their own label Wasted Summer.
* A double music video preview of The Camerawalls for their songs “Bread and Circuses” and “A Gentle Persuasion”. Both co-produced and directed by G-nie Arambulo of Adphoto and company.
* Eight bands performing! From our roster: The Camerawalls, Your Imaginary Friends and The Gentle Isolation; and guests: Techy Romantics, The Bernadettes, Dirty Hate and Radiomanila; plus an exclusive acoustic video performance of Hellogoodbye! Some of the bands will cover songs from “Would It Kill You?” album.
