August 31, 2010

Ready for a dose of noise-pop? Then you’re ready for Your Imaginary Friends! Lilystars Records proudly presents the single, “Oh, Liza” off Your Imaginary Friends’ first EP entitled One Dreamy Indeterminate Hum, slated to debut on September 17, 2010 at Ayala Museum. To listen click on the EP cover.

Interesting to note is the band’s take on the carousel on the cover: vocalist Ahmad Tanji says that the carousel symbolizes the childlike dreaminess they wish to find or return to.

Giving us pop music with a kick, Your Imaginary Friends’ music spans the territories of 80s guitar pop and early 90’s noise, plus the marriage of everything in between. Fans of The Radio Department and Death Cab For Cutie will surely enjoy this first track by the band.

“Oh, Liza” debuts on NU 107.5 on Wednesday, September 1, 2010.
