Your Imaginary Friends recently launched at The POP Shoppe! a promotional video for their single “Oh, Liza” held at Cafe Saguijo last Wednesday, February 16. An event supported by the performances of The Camerawalls, The Gentle Isolation, Ciudad, Taken By Cars and Bagetsafonik. The single is taken from their debut EP “One Dreamy Indeterminate Hum” released September of last year.

Experience their fun-loving side in a comic and fantastic exaggeration of an instructional video conceptualized and filmed by the band themselves in a talk show setting. Watch the video here…

The long wait is over. After more than two years, The Camerawalls now offers another proper release, this time via an EP entitled “Bread And Circuses”. Far from being an offshoot of their previous album, the new record will take you to a more intimate and adventurous sound arena.

We are now accepting pre-orders especially for those who won’t be able to make it to the launch party on December 11 at Ayala Museum. Pre-order between November 28 and December 12 and get a free button pin and sticker plus an option to receive a signed copy of the new EP (upon request). We will mail your order on December 13, and while you wait, you will receive thru e-mail an advanced MP3 of the single “Bread and Circuses“. Bread and Circuses: New Single and EP by The Camerawalls

The highly anticipated new record of our banner artist will be our year-ender release as we launch their new EP entitled “Bread and Circuses” produced by Jonathan Ong and Robert Javier of Sonicstate Studio. A brilliant collection of songs that showcases the band’s finest points and versatility in terms of songwriting. Listen to the single and title track below:

Announcing the third leg of The POP Shoppe! Music Series: A Call To Mind — This October we bring you a very special presentation, a delightful mix of music and arts to celebrate John Lennon’s 70th birthday entitled “Watching The Wheels“. All roads lead to Ayala Museum on Saturday, October 9 as we bring you 8 indie acts to perform Lennon covers and 13 young contemporary artists to display their visual interpretation of the event’s title on canvas.

Performers for this special night will include Lally Buendia (Domino), OuterhopeSwissyKate TorralbaArigato Hato! and Lilystars Records’ very own – The Gentle IsolationYour Imaginary Friends and The Camerawalls. Each artist will be performing at least two Lennon favorites from his solo albums as well as choices from his years with The Beatles. >>>

The POP Shoppe! Music Series: A Call To Mind – Your Imaginary Friends EP Launch

We are excited to bring you the second installment to The POP Shoppe! Music Series co-presented by Ayala Museumm and NU107 as we launch the debut EP of Your Imaginary Friends entitled “One Dreamy Indeterminate Hum” at the ground floor lobby of the Ayala Museum on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 7:30pm to 11:00pm.

Your Imaginary Friends is an indie pop band founded by three Bicolano boys: brothers Ahmad and Khalid Tanji and Eric Po a few years ago before deciding to make inroads in Manila trying out a number of female bassist/vocalist until they met and settled with Em Aquino to complete their sound. Discovered and eventually signed by Lilystars over a year ago, they started recording their songs as early as September 2009 only to be completed last month for a fresh collection of splendid tracks ripe for the picking. >>>
