Orange & Lemons will easily transport their listeners with a summer single intended for beach-trotting lovers, or basically anyone reminiscing their time by the sea; the sound of the waves; sunrise and sunsets; sand and sea sprays. “Pag-ibig Sa Tabing Dagat” is an attempt to fuse “Kundiman,” a genre of traditional Filipino love song, with boss nova elements and the indie guitar pop sound the band is known for. A classic contemporary!

The cover art centerpiece is an oil painting by Mark Villanueva, an award-wining contemporary visual artist from Baliuag, Bulacan. The recording also features arrangements by their recently adopted live keyboardist Jared Nerona. Clem Castro, JM Del Mundo and Ace Del Mundo of Orange & Lemons are currently determined to release an all-Filipino album in the near future with “Pag-ibig Sa Tabing-Dagat” setting a benchmark for wonderful Tagalog songs to come.

“Pag-ibig Sa Tabing-Dagat” was officially released on June 7 under Lilystars Records.
