Orange & Lemons, our beloved indie pop icons, will celebrate their 25th Anniversary with a concert on October 18, 2024 at The Metrotent Convention Center. “Now and Then: The Orange & Lemons 25th Anniversary Concert” will deliver a three-hour live performance, offering fans an immersive journey through the band’s complete discography.
The performance will be divided into four parts, each honoring one of their albums:
Part 1: La Bulaqueña (Cultural Era): An homage to their first all-Tagalog album, proudly blending Filipino culture with their musical style.
Part 2: Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes and Dirty Ice Cream (The Beginnings): A nostalgic look back to the band’s early years, capturing the unadulterated spirit of their early musical passion.
Section 3: “Strike While the Iron Is Hot (The Shot to Fame)”: An exuberant commemoration of their ascent to fame, characterized by ingenuity and captivating vigor.
Part 4: Moonlane Gardens (Psychedelic Phase): An examination of their experimental, psychedelic period, during which new sounds and frontiers were crossed for this concept album.
