As part of the full concept of REQUIEM RISING, the show will be the euphoric marriage of live new wave/alternative music and live dj mobile mixing, this is where the mix masters of MODE ZERO powers the show. In full support is WXB102, being the station that acts as the beacon of new wave then and now.

Concept of the Show:
Requiem Rising is all about the new wave/alternative genre, well what is that all about? The common perception is that it is all about retro music of the 80’s. We beg to differ because we believe that its just all about good rock music which is categorized as alternative rock in all its other subgenres and categories. New wave as commonly known, never went away nor is it an old music. Its basically just good and endearing music. We are using the term evolution to showcase that new wave has evolved and is actually still around and current. This will be achieved by combining in one show the indie bands of the 80’s and the current indie bands. This will not prove that music has not changed, in fact it proves that good music holds its ground and endures.
